The short version
We store your account, the organization profiles you create, and the match reports those runs produce. We use that data to run matches and show you your results. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other customers. GrantField operates on US R&D funding and serves US organizations. This summary is a draft written in plain language; a formal policy will replace it, and the practices described here are the ones we intend to keep.

What we store
Three kinds of data, each tied to your account:
Account and authentication
Your email and the records needed to sign you in. Sign-in is passwordless: a device passkey is the primary path, with a magic link as the fallback, so we do not store a password. Authentication is handled through our identity provider (Supabase).
Organization profile
What you enter to be matched: organization type, size band, US state, technology and sector selections, and your free-text description. You can edit or clear these from your account.
Match reports
The results of your runs: the ranked, scored calls and their written rationales, saved so you can reopen them without rerunning.
Billing
Credit balance and purchase records. Card payments are handled by our payments provider (Lemon Squeezy); we do not store full card numbers.
Basic operational logs
Standard request and error logs needed to keep the service running and secure. These are not used to build advertising profiles.

How we use it
Your data is used to operate the product you signed up for:
Running matches
Your profile is screened and scored against the funding field to produce a report.
Showing your results
Saved reports are served back to you, and only you, on your account and through your own API key.
Account and billing
Signing you in, tracking your credit balance, and processing the credit packs you buy.
Keeping it working
Operating, securing, and debugging the service, and meeting legal obligations where they apply.
We do not use your organization profile or reports to train models for resale, and we do not use your data to advertise to you.
04 · Privacy
Sharing and selling
We do not sell your data. We do not share your profile or your reports with other GrantField customers.
The only parties that process your data are the service providers that make the product run, acting on our instructions: our identity provider for authentication, our hosting and database infrastructure, and our payments provider for purchases. The funding opportunity data we match you against comes from public and licensed funding sources; your profile is not shared back to them.
05 · Privacy
Retention and your control
We keep your account data while your account is active so your profiles and reports stay available to you. You stay in control of the contents:
Edit your profile
Update or clear your organization profile any time from your account.
Your reports
Past reports remain on your account until you remove them or close the account.
Close your account
Email support to close your account and request deletion of the associated data, subject to records we must keep for legal or billing reasons.
US scope
GrantField is built for US R&D funding and US organizations; the service is operated accordingly.
