How credits work
GrantField is metered, not subscribed. A match run screens every tracked US R&D call against one organization profile, scores the survivors on a transparent rubric, and saves a written report. Runs come in three sizes; browsing the field on Explore is always free and spends nothing.
Compact run · 5 credits
A full-field screen with a tight shortlist of up to 10, for a quick read.
Standard run · 10 credits
The default. Screens the whole field and scores a shortlist of up to 20 calls.
Deep run · 20 credits
A wider shortlist of up to 40 with deeper per-call analysis, for a thorough sweep.
Reopening a report
Free. Past reports stay on your account; reading one never costs a credit.
Exploring the field
Free, no account. Credits are only for matching against your profile.
New accounts start with a small credit balance, so you can run your first match before buying anything. Your live balance and per-run cost are shown on the Billing tab.

Credits are sold in packs. Bigger packs carry a lower price per credit. Pick a pack at checkout; the charge is handled securely by Lemon Squeezy.

What a run includes
Every tier runs the same complete full-field screen; tiers differ only in how many surviving calls get scored and how deep each write-up goes, never in what is checked.
Full-field screen
Every federal, state, and private R&D call in the field, checked against your profile.
Eligibility gate
A legal precheck on type, size, and place, with an honest count of what was screened out and why.
Scored matches
Each surviving call rated 0 to 100 on the rubric, ranked by fit.
Written report
Verdict, rationale, and requirement notes per call, saved to your account to reopen any time.
API parity
Runs driven over the API return the same report and spend the same tier cost. See the API section of the guide.

Common questions
Do credits expire?
No. Bought credits stay on your account until you use them.
Is there a subscription?
No. Pricing is per run. You buy credits when you need them.
What does exploring cost?
Nothing. The field is free to browse without an account; credits are only for matching.
Failed or interrupted run?
Not charged. A credit is spent only when a run completes and a report is saved.
Refunds?
Email support with your account email and the run in question and we will make it right.
