The Massachusetts Manufacturing Accelerator Program (MMAP), administered by the MassTech Collaborative’s Center for Advanced Manufacturing (CAM), provides grant funding and accelerator support to help small- and medium-sized manufacturers modernize operations, adopt advanced technologies, and strengthen their competitiveness.

MMAP is designed to support small- and mid-sized Massachusetts manufacturers as they prepare for the evolving demands of customers and a rapidly changing manufacturing landscape.

Through a combination of funding, expert guidance, and peer collaboration, the program helps manufacturers identify and implement strategic investments that drive long-term growth and operational improvement. How It Works

Participating manufacturers begin by submitting an application outlining their current challenges, opportunities and growth goals. Selected companies will: Receive a third-party assessment conducted by a third-party to evaluate operations and identify high-impact capital equipment investments Develop a capital investment plan aligned with business needs that is eligible for MMAP grant funding Engage in a cohort-based accelerator that promotes shared learning and collaboration Accelerator Experience

As part of the MMAP cohort, manufacturers gain access to: Peer-to-peer learning opportunities with fellow manufacturers Industry experts and technical advisors Workshops, speaker sessions, and curated resources Connections to the broader Massachusetts manufacturing ecosystem Areas of Impact

MMAP supports manufacturers in enhancing capabilities across a wide range of areas, including: Digital transformation Artificial intelligence (AI) adoption Robotics and automation Quality assurance and quality control Workforce training and upskilling
