About this funding opportunity

Innovative Readiness Training

Through collaboration with the U.S. Department of War and the U.S. military reserve forces, the DRA supports the Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) by bringing medical, dental and optical care to underserved communities within the Delta region. The purpose of the IRT is to provide no-cost quality health care services to residents, while simultaneously providing in-field emergency response training for military personal to improve deployment readiness.

DRA works closely with Delta communities and the Department of War to assist with the application process, as well as with the planning and implementation of a two-week medical mission.
