In the 2019-2021 legislative session, $10 million in tax exempt lottery bond funding was provided to Business Oregon to provide grants for capital improvement projects to county fairground facilities. The first bond sale is anticipated in spring 2022 and will provide $5 million in available funding with the remaining $5 million in funding to come available with the next bond sale, anticipated in spring of 2023. The agency has awarded the first round of funds to eligible projects.
