Vermont endeavors to bolster its economic infrastructure by expanding and strengthening private sector businesses and workforce development in the traditionally underserved BIPOC community by providing business and workforce development services to Vermont’s BIPOC community. The State seeks solutions for outreach, support, training, technical assistance, networking, and resource navigation for BIPOC business owners and workforce.

ACCD has contracted with the Vermont Professional of Colors Network to provide statewide delivery of business coaching and other forms of training, at no cost to these businesses and individuals, to Black, Indigenous, and Persons of Color (BIPOC) business owners, networking and special convenings, and career, fairs, workshops and paid internships, career guidance, and other support for BIPOC workers across the state.
